Agent Toolkit supports TL1 adaptor that exposes managed
objects information to EMS or NMS from the common instrument
layer through TL1 communication protocol over TCP. It
is designed in a manner to suit the requirements of
telecommunication networks. This adaptor is itself implemented
as a dynamic managed object for exposing the TL1 adaptor
configuration parameters, which can be viewed and changed
through some other protocol adaptors/connectors.

Key Features and Benefits
Features
Benefits
Conformance to Bellcore GR 831, 815, and
TR 835 standards
Provides security features to Network Elements (NE)/
Network Systems (NS).
Implementation of GR199 Standards
Provisioning Messages.
Asynchronous Message Processing
Enables faster dispatch of requests as the agent sends
many requests simultaneously without waiting for the
previously sent message to be processed.
Delayed Activation Support
Input messages can be stored in a message pending buffer
at the NE for final execution later time
Build-in commands support
Input commands applicable to all the NE in the network.
Craft Terminal Interface
Provides a means of TL1 agent processing using local
interface/console
Transport Provider Interface
Allows users to plug in their own transport protocol
for communication
TL1 adaptor acts as a wrapper over WebNMS standalone TL1
agent ensuring the same stability as standalone TL1 agent.
