You get an error when you are trying to deploy a patch configuration to your client computers. The error message that you see on the screen is, 'The wait operation timed out.'.
You cannot deploy the patch configuration because the:
You will also face this problem when you are trying install a Java update on a client computer that hosts a Java Development Kit (JDK). The jqs.exe file in the JDK will prevent patch installation.
You are required to identify why you cannot deploy the patch configruations. Follow one of the solutions given below, depending on what the problem is.
Re-deploying the Patch Configuration
If your patch installation time exceeds 45 minutes, try to re-deploy the patches. To re-deploy the patch configuration follow the steps given below:

Increasing the RAM size
Increase the RAM size to 512 MB or more to enable smooth deployment of patch configurations to client computers.
Installing Java Updates
Install the Java update by selecting the Install during computer startup option, in the Deployment Settings section, when you are creating the patch configuration.
