AdventNet Announces Support for Oracle® Application
Server 10g
AdventNet To Provide Customers with J2EE Application and
JMX-based Management Solutions on Oracle Application Server
10g
Pleasanton, California, September 9, 2003
AdventNet, an active member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, today
announced that its category-leading ManageEngine JMX Studio
will extend support to Oracle® Application Server 10g,
the latest edition of Oracle's middleware product that offers
enhanced integration and Web services capabilities. Together,
AdventNet and Oracle Application Server 10g, part of Oracle's
integrated grid software infrastructure, will enable government
customers to take advantage of grid computing to achieve high
system availability, improve resource utilization, and lower
the cost of managing IT infrastructure.
ManageEngine JMX Studio allows Java 2 Platform Enterprise
Edition (J2EE) application developers to incorporate JMX-based
manageability into their Java and J2EE applications. Together
with Oracle Application Server 10g, ManageEngine JMX studio
will enable the rapid development and deployment of end-to-end
application management solutions by exposing management information
from various data sources, such as EJBs, Web applications,
Java APIs, database schema, and log files.
"Businesses rely on mission-critical applications for
their day-to-day operations. There is an acute need to manage
these mission-critical applications and ensure optimal usage
of existing computing resources. AdventNet Inc. and Oracle
together will address these needs with JMX-based applications
manageability from AdventNet ManageEngine JMX Studio,"
said Kumar Vembu, President, Enterprise Management at AdventNet.
"As an integrated, standards-based software platform,
Oracle Application Server 10g allows organizations of all
sizes to be more responsive to changing business requirements,"
said Thomas Kurian, senior vice president, Development, Oracle
Application Server and Tools. "For maximum flexibility
in developing, deploying and managing Java applications, customers
can leverage both the grid computing support and enhanced
Web services functionality in Oracle Application Server 10g."
