AdventNet Announces ManageEngineTM,First Standards-Based
Manageability Solution For Business Processes, Applications

today announced the release of the preview version of AdventNet
ManageEngine 5.0, the first real time, standards-based manageability
solution for business processes, applications and middleware
infrastructure.
Enterprises have made substantial investments in a multitude
of enterprise applications (as well as in J2EE and EAI middleware
to develop and integrate those applications). As real time
business activity monitoring becomes a strategic necessity,
business and IT leadership seek real time visibility into
the health and performance of the business processes that

market opportunity for ISVs (vendors of enterprise applications

AdventNet ManageEngine is the first solution to go beyond

of an enterprises business processes. It is also completely
standards-based, with the management information being exposed
using standard protocols such as SNMP, JMX and HTTP. A JMS
based messaging and Web Services interface are also being
developed. The general availability for the AdventNet ManageEngine
is scheduled for mid-April, 2002.
