Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is a version of the Internet Protocol (IP) which has replaced IPv4. In computers that have Windows 7 or Windows Vista installed in them, IPv6 is installed by default. This can be disabled using the Registry Settings configruation in Desktop Central.
